Each and every animal has different sides to it and it’s sometimes hard to understand why dog behavior problems happen and continue throughout a dog’s life. Most of the time there is a reason and a way to stop the behavior from happening and escalating, there is of course medical conditions that could cause the problems which sometimes can’t be corrected that unfortunately is something that has to be lived with and you will have to be the one to change your way of thinking and dealing to be able to make the dog as happy as possible despite the problem it has. For example there is bladder weakness and incontinency problems, if your dog has arthritis and can sometimes be in pain this will cause dog behavior problems at times and unfortunately will just have to be lived with.
As we all know that one off instances can happen also, this however has to be addressed at the time it only takes once for the dog to bite a child or another dog or even you. A dog can’t be completely trusted all animals go through mood swings as do we and all we can say to this that respect your own space never go into a dogs space and become intimidating it will cause the dog to become anxious which could cause bad behavior.
Dogs on heat or that are pregnant could become more temperamental then normal and obviously need space and patience to be able to be comfortable. However just because an animal is pregnant at no time should bad behavior be accepted and has to be watched carefully and nipped in the bud. You do not want this problem to become a habit and continue after the dog has its pups.
Under stimulated is one of the most well known reasons for dog behavior problems to become apparent and knowing that you have to find things to keep your dog interested is one of the key ways to prevent any behavior problems. Toys, games even grooming can prevent this problem and will help your dog to become included and feel safe and loved. It is always difficult to fit things in around your life but dogs are demanding and need attention and love to feel respected and to respect you.
